The Battle Belongs to the Lord

The Book of the Wars of the Lord is mentioned in Num 21:14. These were wars that were fought here on earth before the Israelites ever came out of Egypt, since the book was already in existence while they were still in the wilderness. This book probably includes wars we do not know about, which are not written in the Bible. But perhaps it includes others that are written in Scripture like the time Abraham went to war against the nine kings, known as The Battle of the Vale of Siddim, also often called the War of Nine Kings or the Slaughter of Chedorlaomer (Gen 14:1-17).

Thus any wars that God fights against evil are called "the Wars of the Lord," including any wars He uses His people to fight against the forces of darkness. No matter what battles we may fight against the enemy, we must remember that the battle belongs to the Lord. As Scripture says, "the battle is not yours, but God's" (2 Chr 20:15).

Since God never loses a battle, the victory is ours when the battle is the Lord's. Don't forget that. Just be sure you are fighting the Lord's battle and not your own, and understand who your real enemy is. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Eph 6:12)

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"
